About the Role As a Technical Team Leader, you will master production technology and maintenance techniques, taking responsibility for optimising our engineering operations. You'll work collaboratively across departments to resolve issues, coach team members, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Attend meetings to provide engineering updates, plan resources, and agree on time lines to address losses. Investigate and resolve repeat loss issues using root cause analysis and systematic problem-solving techniques. Support Shift Technicians in troubleshooting losses (breakdowns, waste, speed) and ensure the effectiveness of countermeasures. Coach team members in maintenance activities and continuous improvement methodologies. Participate in CI projects and validations to improve equipment reliability. Provide insights to enhance maintenance standards and execution to the Reliability Leader. Maintain critical equipment settings and document changes to ensure compliance with standards. Plan and oversee preventative and opportunistic maintenance activities with the Preventative Maintenance Leader. Respond swiftly to equipment breakdowns and follow escalation processes as needed. Ensure accurate recording of maintenance details and spares usage in SAP. About You: To succeed in this role, you'll need: HNC or Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years' technical or manufacturing experience, with expertise in high-speed automated assembly and packaging equipment. Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure. A collaborative mindset and experience fostering team-building activities. Knowledge of safety, ergonomics, and quality systems in a manufacturing setting. Preferred: Basic knowledge of PLC systems (not essential). What We Offer: A competitive salary of £50,000.
