Customer Sales Manager
Due to expansion and internal promotions, we are recruiting for one of our favourite client partners, an established, award-winning, and progressive company in York. A full-time, permanent opportunity has become available to work as part of the management team as a Customer Sales Manager.
The purpose of this position is to lead, manage, and develop the Sales team to maximise the conversion rate of every telephone enquiry whilst providing a world-class level of customer experience at all times.
As the Customer Sales Manager, you will be:
1. Improving capability and motivation within the team through one-to-ones, coaching, feedback, development, and empowerment.
2. Driving a performance and customer-focused culture.
3. Creating and driving a high-performing, motivational sales environment, ensuring the team are energised to achieve their targets and deliver a great customer experience.
4. Collaborating with teams across the business to ensure operational excellence and the delivery of an exceptional customer experience.
5. Managing and fostering relationships with suppliers and third parties.
6. Providing accurate and timely reporting to support stakeholders in making data-driven decisions.
7. Embodying and promoting a one team approach across the business and being a part of the on-call team on a rota basis.
In addition to the above, the role of Customer Sales Manager also requires you to have the following:
1. Proven experience of leading teams to achieve sales targets in a contact centre environment.
2. Proven experience of improving the customer experience.
3. Driven to achieve sales targets and able to motivate others to achieve.
4. A customer-first mentality with the ability to inspire this within their team and across the business.
5. A resilient, positive, and personable approach.
6. A calm and confident approach to problem-solving & experience of building strong relationships with suppliers and third parties.
Salary: circa £35K
