Key Responsibilities Technical Delivery: Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to construction. Prepare and review calculation packages for submission to Building Control, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Provide technical oversight and review contributions from project engineers and technicians Foster innovation in design while maintaining rigorous quality standards. Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, supporting their development. Plan and allocate team resources efficiently across projects. Contribute to divisional initiatives such as innovation groups and task forces. Client and Business Development: Build as well as maintain strong relationships with clients, architects and contractors. Support the preparation of fee proposals, bid and ITTS. Participate in client networking and represent the team at industry events and develop new business opportunities. What We’re Looking For Qualifications: MEng or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering. Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (or actively working towards it) with IStructE/ICE. Experience and Skills: Proven experience in the design of building structures across various sectors. Expertise in analysis, modelling and structural calculations. Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
