An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supported Housing Officer a National Charity, in providing comprehensive housing management and estate services for supported housing residents. This home-based role offers an opportunity for those experienced in housing management to make a real impact within the community.
THE ROLE As a Supported Housing Officer, you will play a key role in managing housing services within your designated patch. You will be responsible for providing housing management and supporting vulnerable residents. Key responsibilities include:
Leading housing management activities within your patch, supporting vulnerable residents.
Managing income recovery and ensuring tenants meet payment obligations.
Handling neighbour nuisance/conflict issues and managing estate management.
Working closely with area teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
Liaising with residents to ensure tenancy/licence agreements are understood and adhered to.
Providing housing advice, support, and resolving issues promptly.
Ensuring all records are maintained and updated according to contractual requirements.
THE CANDIDATE To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following key requirements:
1+ years of experience in legal action/housing officer role .
6+ months of experience in income collection .
Familiarity with tenancy/licence agreements .
Remote, but needs to be based inNorth West, West Midlands, Or Leeds/ Yorkshire Area.
Additional experience required includes:
Experience in supported housing or similar housing management roles.
Strong understanding of housing laws and regulations.
Ability to handle neighbour disputes, nuisance, and conflict management.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively within area teams to deliver the best outcomes for residents.
THE CONTRACT 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM 5 PM
3-month contract, with the potential to become permanent
£17.07 per hour LTD / £14.55 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)
