Description Trade Planning Manager – Membership £50,000 to £58,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 5) Manchester city centre, in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and coming into the office at least twice a week (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy). 12-month fixed-term contract / secondment We’re looking for a Membership Planning Manager to join our Trade Planning and Promotions team within our wider Propositions function. In this role, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to get more members to join us and shop with us more often. We’ll look to you to show the customer the economic value of being a Co-op member every time they shop with us. You’ll be integral to our trade planning function and have the exciting opportunity to define and support the implementation of our Member value strategy and programme across Co-op Retail. Membership is at the centre of our Co-op and you’ll have a huge influence on us achieving our group vision of ‘co-operating to build more value for member-owners every day’. What you’ll do Manage a multimillion-pound budget to create leading value for our Members, elevating our Co-op Brand products Be the trade planning lead for our Membership proposition Co-lead on our economic value workstream Co-create the Membership Plan with key partners Make sure we have a ‘member first’ approach, and leverage key member insights and analytics to support the evolution of our proposition Look for ways to continuously improve, researching loyalty activity in the market and spotting and pursuing opportunities for our Co-op Create engagement packs and presentations for a variety of internal and external partners, sharing key data and information to support the delivery of member activity Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Commercial, Marketing, Insights and Membership This role would suit people who have Experience working in food retail in either a commercial or trade planning role Excellent presentation skills, with the confidence to present to both internal and external partners Experience creating engaging PowerPoints with the ability to tell a story to a variety of audiences Proven experience managing various partners within a business unit Commercial awareness with the ability to interpret and analyse data Why Co-op?
