If you have a Level 2 qualification in Mechanical Engineering and looking for a new position we want to speak to you We have a fantastic opportunity to join the engineering team at our clients busy distribution centre that is based in Wakefield. Supporting the wider engineering team you will be predominantly responsible for the schedule of planned maintenance of high volume picking machinery and ensuring that all maintenance of service document are kept up to date. In this role you will be required to assist with managing external contractors and coach and mentor the more Junior engineers on site. This is a physically demanding role and you will need to be confident working at height for which full training will be provided. Ideally you will have experience working in a Distribution Centre but not essential Key responsibilities for a Maintenance Technician Mechanically; Reading assembly drawings, stripping and re-assembling with hand tools. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Strong Attention to detail CMMS use Adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines Willing to learn and adapt to role requirements. Perform routine preventative and reactive maintenance. Hands on ownership of issues Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a Maintenance Technician Level 2 Mechanical Engineering Qualification or equivalent Experience with fault finding, continuous improvements Confident with Microsoft Office including word, excel, outlook etc IOSH and knowledge of PROFINET, PROFIBUS would be an advantage Salary and Benefits of a Maintenance Technician Salary £39,180 Rotating shift pattern 0600 - 1415 - Monday - Friday 1400 - 2215 - Monday - Friday 2200 - 0615 - Monday - Friday 0600 - 1330 Sunday 1 in 3 22 Days Holiday Pension Development and Training High Street Discount.
