Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, with a particular focus on data collection, analysis, and reporting to help drive informed decision-making across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Support daily operations and assist with maintaining smooth processes
* Update policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure accuracy
* Collect, analyse, and report data to inform decision-making
* Collaborate across departments to enhance efficiency and streamline tasks
* Provide administrative support during meetings and track action points
* Liaise with external stakeholders to support operational processes
* Suggest and implement ideas for process and system improvements

* Collect, format and save datasets.
* Summarise and explain gathered data.
* Blend data sets from multiple sources and present in format appropriate to the task.
* Manipulate and link different data sets as required.
* Use tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns in data.
* Apply basic statistical methods and algorithms to identify trends and patterns in data.
* Apply cross checking techniques for identifying faults and data results for data project requirements.
* Audit data results.
* Demonstrate the different ways of communicating meaning from data in line with audience requirements.
* Produce clear and consistent technical documentation using standard organisational templates.
* Store, manage and distribute in compliance with data security standards and legislation.
