Role Overview: The SHEQ Advisor is responsible for driving continual improvement in Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental practices across sites and depots. This role plays a key part in developing best practices as part of the company’s zero accident, incident, and defect strategy. Key Responsibilities: Support the development and implementation of HSQE policies and procedures. Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Provide HSQE guidance and training to employees and subcontractors. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions. Ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards, and best practices. Maintain accurate HSQE records and produce reports for senior management. Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and stakeholder’s on HSQE matters. Assist in audits and inspections, ensuring compliance gaps are addressed. Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement and awareness initiatives. What We’re Looking For: Previous HSQE experience in a similar role. Auditing experience with a strong understanding of compliance. Commitment to company values and a proactive safety approach. Multi-Utility experience in Gas, Water, and Electric sectors. Knowledge of ISO management systems(9001, 14001, and 18001). A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
