The University of Salford is now looking for a Placements Administrator The School of Health and Society is recruiting for a 12-month secondment opportunity in a Placements Administrator role supporting Social Work programmes within the School. This opportunity is being offered to cover maternity leave. The role will be joining a well-established, supportive team and would include a hand-over period with the current post-holder to enable training on the various processes and systems and a smooth transition that would allow the successful applicant the best opportunity to make a success of the secondment. This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone who wants to experience a specialised role with an extremely transferable set of skills that will significantly contribute to your professional development. No previous placements experience is necessary. Key Responsibilities The role encompasses a diverse range of activities, including (but not limited to) allocation of placements, negotiation with providers, financial forecasting, reconciliation and payment to placement partners, management and development of online assessment, quality monitoring processes, supervising the work of the Placement Assistant, overseeing hourly-paid staff to student allocations, tracking student progress through placement and supporting student-focused Placement Review meetings for Exam Boards.
