Job Description
The Job Mission
As our next Project Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting temporary commissioning projects alongside the Commissioning Temporary Projects Manager. Split between office and site work, you’ll ensure project safety, quality, and on-schedule delivery.
1. Collaborate with the Project Manager to align on safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives
2. Define the project scope and interface with other project elements
3. Manage delivery of small projects, tasks, and jobs with a focus on safety and efficiency
4. Prepare and maintain key project documentation to ensure clarity and alignment
5. Develop and implement strategies in line with program execution plans
6. Communicate with stakeholders to execute project strategies within your contract scope
7. Track project progress, monitor milestones, and update stakeholders
My profile
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Project experience in engineering/construction, with a focus on project management processes
2. Ability to prioritise and organise work to meet schedules
3. Effective communication skills with multi-disciplinary teams
4. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including CDM regulations
5. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for report preparation
Desired Skills:
1. Experience with procurement and tendering processes preferred
2. Familiarity with contract management, frameworks, and budget monitoring
3. Relevant degree in engineering or related field desired
