What you'll do
As a Capability and Automation Manager, you'll be at the forefront of defining and configuring business capabilities to meet user needs across fixed, mobile/IoT, and SaaS products.
Your role will involve:
1. Innovating and improving user adoption: You'll actively analyze user interactions with the tools you manage, always thinking about "what's next" to enhance user satisfaction.
2. Delivering business outcomes: You'll ensure that demands targeted at business capabilities are met with quality and within agreed timelines.
3. Managing configuration data: Depending on the maturity of the business capability, you'll manage configuration data into tools or systems.
4. Building applications/tools: You'll develop applications and tools on the MS Power Platform.
5. Automating processes: You'll write code to automate processes required to manage business capabilities.
6. Analyzing data: You'll write code to analyze data within and across systems.
7. Enhancing customer/user experience: You'll work with colleagues and users to identify automation and customer/user experience enhancement opportunities, making simple benefit cases and identifying metrics to measure the impact.
8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams: You'll work within a group that may include UX & Design, Product Managers, testing, and customer-facing teams to deliver successful outcomes together.
9. Documenting configurations: You'll document all configurations to ensure they can be understood and reused by other configuration managers.
10. Designing automation improvements: You'll identify and design automation improvements to enhance business capabilities.
11. Becoming a subject matter expert: You'll become the expert for your business capabilities and tools, ensuring you understand and have input into upstream activities that impact your configuration.
Who you are
We are looking for someone who:
1. Understands and can articulate business needs, translating them into actionable work.
2. Has experience delivering results in fast-paced environments with multiple design and delivery functions.
3. Quickly acquires product/technical expertise to understand current and desired product experiences and underlying technology dependencies.
4. Can analyze and interpret data to provide insight-driven direction and address root cause issues.
5. Has at least 2 years of business experience in business-facing configuration, software development, or design roles.
6. Possesses excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
7. Is inquisitive about why things work the way they do and emerging technology trends.
