Finance Business Partner | Permanent Appointment
£55,000 - £70,000 per annum | Negotiable Depending upon experience
Based in the Perth area | Full-time role
Our client, a well-established organisation in the Manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the financial management of the company and contribute to its continued success.
The FBP will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support with the financial management of the business
* Support with year-end audit, annual statutory accounts
* Preparation of Management Accounts (Journals, Accruals & Prepayments etc)
* Assisting with Budgeting, Forecasting & Cashflow
* Support with VAT Returns, CIS Payments
* Financial Analysis & Continuous Improvement
Skills and Experience:
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent)
* Qualified by experience will also be considered.
* Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Experience in Construction, Manufacturing or similar industry is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of relevant accounting software and MS Excel.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
* A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
