Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to provide operational and technical support to the Drilling team, working closely with Drilling Supervisors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering cost-effective well intervention and completion designs, estimates, and programs covering various aspects of drilling operations, including general well interventions, workovers, kill and plug, completion retrieval, remedial work, and completion installation.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from our office in Norwich.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review work programs and lookahead with site supervisors' assistance.
* Liaise with site planners for services and asset planning.
* Monitor drilling parameters, fluid properties, and perform real-time torque and drag analysis.
* Assist site supervisors and provide input to operational programs.
* Provide expertise at the wellsite for wells software.
* Support HSE performance and compliance with HSE standards during well operations.
* Assist in logistics planning and compile daily reports.
* Create and develop operational lookaheads and compile end-of-well reports.
* Record lessons learned and assist in preparing casing/completion tallies.
* Communicate with Asset Planners to ensure operational asset requirements are available.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of drilling operations and contribute to supervisory roles.
Key Requirements:
* Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
* 1-2 years of experience in Drilling Engineering.
* Operational drilling experience.
* Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
* Confident and self-motivated individual.
* Excellent technical competence.
* Leadership skills and ability to work towards supervisory roles.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
