A company within the pharmaceutical industry, based in Burgess Hill.
Your new role
1. Looking for a Legal and Compliance Specialist to support the Legal and Compliance department by answering general compliance queries, organising documents, operating IT systems and approving materials and contracts.
2. Supporting the compliance function by identifying, assessing, managing and mitigating local compliance risks. This includes providing guidance to the organisation relating to compliance matters and acting as a point of contact for basic compliance queries, supporting the Compliance Manager where required.
3. Helping to devise and implement suitable legal and compliance processes.
4. Overseeing governance for information and documentation storage across the organisation (by acting as the Local Records Management Coordinator) as well as managing governance for information and documentation storage specifically within the Legal and Compliance department so that all information in the Department is stored in an organised and appropriately accessible manner.

4. Basic understanding of contractual law.
