A highly reputable primary school in Luton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join its permanent staff from April 2025. The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that support the academic and personal development of KS1 pupils. Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
2. Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports children’s wellbeing and development.
4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to enhance pupil outcomes.
5. Uphold the school’s ethos, values, and behaviour policies.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
2. Experience teaching within KS1, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
3. A passion for inspiring young learners and promoting a love of learning.
4. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
5. A commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork.
6. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one prior to appointment).
