Care Assistant - Nights
Location: Otterbourne Hill (near Winchester, near Eastleigh)
Contract: 36 hour contract available
Salary: £12.00 (£12.42 for NVQ2) per hour
Additional Pay: An additional 10% will be paid for night shifts and weekend shifts as a premium uplift.

Who are you?
We are seeking a Care Assistant who shares our passion for providing the best possible care for our residents and who can demonstrate professionalism and energy in the home.
We are looking for somebody who:
* Supports our commitment to providing the best possible care for our residents and our ability to make them feel like family within a loving home.
* Ideally, you will have NVQ/QCF 2 qualification in Health & Social Care, but this is not essential. Care experience is preferred but not mandatory as we provide training.
* Possesses good communication skills, is a team player, reliable, committed, and has a natural affinity to older people.
What will I be doing?
* Providing personal care to clients which is person-centred and respects individual choices.
* Providing additional care and support as required when a client is unwell or towards end of life.
* Acting as a Key-worker to a number of clients.
* Supporting nurses in writing and reviewing care plans.
* Documenting care given, recording any changes and reporting these to the shift leader.
* Providing support and advice to residents’ families and friends while adhering to confidentiality.
* Working with the Activities Team to develop engaging activities for residents.
* Liaising with other agencies as required in the interests of the resident.

Brendoncare Otterbourne Court is a new care home in Hampshire, providing both dementia and nursing care for up to 64 residents in a family-like environment.
The residential home is divided into smaller households of 16 bedrooms, fostering a family-like atmosphere with communal areas for socializing and quieter spaces for tranquility.
