Description ROLE CAN BE BASED IN LONDON OR LUXEMBOURG Amazon is looking for a Business Analyst for Amazons Worldwide Fulfillment (AWF) team with our global logistics organisation. AWF team is dedicated to building, managing and operating a global logistics network that enables B2C cross borders shipments from EU and UK and delivers to customer anywhere in the world. The team is responsible for Carrier Management, Network Design & Operations and end-to-end fulfillment to ensure our customers across the world receive their packages on time, quickly and efficiently. As a Business Analyst at AWF, you will leveraging data analysis and structured reporting to generate actionable intelligence and insights that drive continuous improvement. Combining your analytical prowess with a deep understanding of Amazon's operations, you will identify optimization opportunities and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, speed, quality and cost across the network. Key job responsibilities - Write high-quality SQL code to retrieve, extract, and analyze data from various sources. - Design and maintain performance dashboards and reporting to provide real-time visibility into key operational metrics - Convert data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information using data analysis and visualization techniques. - Analyze and solve business problems with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities. - Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing, by generating clear and concise reports and presentations. - Enable effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience with SQL or ETL - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights - Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages Preferred Qualifications - Experience using very large datasets - Bachelor's degree in business or analytical discipline - Experience with financial or business analysis Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
