Interim HR Business Partner
Ashley Kate HR is pleased to be working with our public sector client in Cheshire to recruit an Interim HR Business Partner for a period of approximately 4-6 months. Reporting to the Head of People, the HR BP will also manage one HR Advisor.
The role will support senior leaders, leading in areas such as performance management, change management, absence management, workforce/succession planning, and leadership development.
1. Evaluate and adapt the local delivery of HR services to ensure they remain relevant and responsive to the changing needs of the business.
2. Provide expert knowledge and advice to managers on HR issues such as absence management, discipline, and change management.
3. Partner with investigation and hearing managers to ensure internal investigations related to grievance and disciplinary processes are adequate.
4. Assist managers in maximizing their people resources through effective planning, development, and recruitment strategies.
5. Advise managers on strategies, policies, and terms and conditions.
6. Support leadership development by advising, guiding, and coaching to identify training gaps and enhance capabilities.
7. Contribute to the development of HR strategies, plans, policies, and processes.
8. Support HR project work across the department.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR Business Partner, preferably from within the public sector, with extensive experience in strategy development, complex ER case management, and HR projects. CIPD qualification or working towards it is required. Immediate availability is preferred. This is a full-time role with a hybrid working approach (minimum 3 days onsite). Some travel to other local sites may be required.
