SAP SUPPORT ADVISOR - PERMANENT - SURREY
Our Client, an offshore oil and gas contractor, is currently looking for a SAP Support Advisor to join the team in the Kingston office.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
1. Candidates must have experience with SAP and be considered as an experienced user.
2. Understanding of the Procurement process with our Client and the role of SAP Support within that process.
3. Ability to supervise staff on a day-to-day basis to ensure team targets are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Planning for staff requirements in the SAP Support Team to ensure sufficient cover in accordance with workload variations.
2. Day-to-day supervision of the SAP Support Team to manage timekeeping, planning, and approval of holidays etc.
3. Supervision of the SAP Support Team workload to ensure that the following are completed:
1. PRs created according to project/operational requirements, ensuring all specifications, prices, delivery times, validity start/end date, commodity codes, inspection data, and Q/HSE specifications are accurate, with timely creation and approval.
2. WO/DO created according to project/operational requirements, ensuring all specifications, prices, delivery times, validity start/end date, WO/DO subject, and clauses are accurate, with timely creation and approval.
3. Once approved, WO/DO are issued to vendors and followed up for acknowledgment. Once acknowledgment is received, WO/DO is confirmed in SAP.
4. Invoices with no queries are cleared within 30 days of the QL Post Date.
5. Invoices requiring further action (part or full credit, backup required, order revision etc.) are marked accordingly on the QL within 30 days of the QL Post Date and followed up with responsible parties to clear invoices within 60 days.
6. SAP Support Team are kept informed and up to date with company procedures both local and corporate to ensure compliance.
4. To ensure that an accurate and up-to-date log is kept of all PR/WO/DO created and revised by the SAP Support Team to reduce the likelihood of duplication and assist with follow-up of approvals.
5. To ensure that new members of the SAP Support Team and other employees as required are trained in the use of the SAP system, supported for problem-solving, and guided on implementation of company policies.
6. Liaise with Project Managers and other requisitioners to ensure that information provided to the SAP Support Team is sufficiently detailed to allow creation of PR/DO/WO.
7. To ensure that SAP Support is provided to the Intercompany team as requested and agreed.
SALARY: Please quote what salary you would be looking for.
DURATION: Start ASAP.
WORK PATTERN: Hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days working at home.
