Having a positive team culture is essential in ensuring the efficient running of AMU and is crucial to delivering positive patient experiences. Effective communication between the various members of the multidisciplinary team is one of the most important aspects of working in such a fast-paced and demanding assessment unit. It is these positive working relationships that have allowed us to improve so many aspects of the service we provide for patients attending AMU.
