Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £95 - £105 Per day
Job Duties:
1. Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting
2. Assist teachers in implementing individualised education plans
3. Help students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and numeracy
4. Support students with emotional and behavioural needs
5. Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning environment
6. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
Required Qualifications:
7. Experience working with students with special educational needs
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
10. Patience and empathy towards students facing challenges
Education:
11. Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
12. Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) are desirable
Experience:
13. Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
14. Demonstrated ability to support students with diverse learning needs
Knowledge and Skills:
15. Understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities
16. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
17. Knowledge of behaviour management strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
18. Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
19. Training in safeguarding and child protection
Working Conditions:
20. Work primarily in a classroom environment
21. Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
22. Potential to work with students across different age groups
