Applicants should meet the following criteria:
1. Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
2. Completion of, registration for or attending a General Pharmaceutical Council accredited pharmacy assistant’s course.
3. Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
4. Experience in ordering and dispensing medicines.
Duties of this role include:
5. To support the delivery of an excellent clinical, operational and governance based medicine management service.
6. Top up distribute medicines to all areas of the hospital.
7. Stock management of medicines within the hospital.
8. Provide a dispensing service for medicines that may be required.
9. To procure & receipt medicines for the hospital.
