The Role:
As a Science teacher you will teach across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on your experience and expertise. You will work within a collaborative and innovative team, contributing to the development of exciting and engaging lessons, as well as preparing students for GCSE and A-Level exams.
Key Responsibilities of this Science Teacher role:
• Deliver high-quality Science lessons across various key stages.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to a range of abilities.
• Foster a love of Science through innovative teaching methods and practical experiments.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing support where needed.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure continuous improvement of the Science department.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities that enhance students' learning experiences.
The Ideal Candidate for this Science Teacher role:
• A qualified Science teacher with a strong knowledge of the curriculum (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
• A passion for Science and the ability to inspire students at all levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students.
• A commitment to high standards and the continuous development of both yourself and your students.
• Experience teaching A-Level is desirable but not essential.
