Job Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional household support. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining a clean and organised environment, ensuring the smooth running of domestic operations to provide independent living and a homely environment, providing the best quality of life possible to all our residents.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform general cleaning duties to uphold high standards of cleanliness within the household.
2. Undertake laundry tasks including washing, ironing, and folding clothes.
3. Assist with grocery shopping and running errands as required.
4. Manage household supplies inventory and replenish when necessary.
5. Support in meal preparation and kitchen tidying.
6. Handle basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and organising documents.
7. Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the role.
8. Manage and oversee the documentation of cleaning records.
9. Work closely with and report regularly to the Housekeeper.
10. Present a professional image at all times.
Experience:
1. Proven experience in domestic cleaning and housekeeping.
2. Strong organisational skills to manage household chores efficiently.
3. Proficiency in data entry and basic clerical duties.
4. Knowledge and understanding of Infection Control Processes.
5. Experience in relation to domestic duties.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.75 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25.5 per week
