The Deputy HR Services Manager and their small team of HR Services Administrators are responsible for driving and delivering key HR projects and process improvements within the HR Services team for Warehousing & Distribution.
You will be responsible for the line management, coaching and development of your team to ensure that they complete the high volume and diverse range of admin tasks and activities effectively, accurately and efficiently.
A key point of contact for HR system (Oracle HCM) queries within the wider HR team and line managers you will be viewed as an expert, providing guidance and training on processes and procedures to ensure best practice at all times.
As Deputy HR Services Manager, you will be a key member of the team conducting regular audits to capture any date inaccuracies within Oracle HCM, providing feedback to stakeholders to ensure all corrections are made and outputs are tracked. Working closely with the HR Data teams and by utilising these outputs, you will introduce any additional audits and make process changes suggestions in order to drive continuous improvements.
About you:
We’re looking for a self-motivated and highly organised individual, able to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously, understanding the needs and changing priorities in a dynamic business. Excellent communication skills are key; you’ll play a pivotal role working with stakeholders across Next Distribution and the ability to build strong working relationships will be essential.
You will be a detailed and analytical individual, using your knowledge, experience and data analysis skills to identify issues and make recommendations. Sound knowledge with Microsoft Excel/Google sheets is essential, along with experience of Oracle HCM or similar.
Along with previous line management experience and a proven ability to develop and motivate your team, we’re looking for someone with prior experience of working with people data and with knowledge of policies, procedures, T&C’s and GDPR.
