Career Teachers are recruiting for qualified QTS or PGCE Art Teachers who provide a stimulating and inclusive environment where students can explore their creativity.
This role will involve working within schools based around Rotherham, Sheffield and surrounding areas, on either a full-time and long-term basis or part-time, day-to-day basis.
Whether you have multiple years of teaching experience or you have recently completed your studies, we want to hear from you!
To be considered for this role you will need to:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
* Have proven experience teaching art at the secondary level, with a genuine passion for inspiring and empowering students to explore and develop their artistic potential.
* Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of artistic mediums and techniques, along with the ability to adapt lessons to accommodate different skill levels, interests, and learning styles.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents/guardians, and external partners.
* Show creativity, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, enabling you to design engaging lessons, foster a supportive classroom culture, and contribute to the wider school community.
* Be flexible, committed, motivational, and passionate about teaching.
* Hold a current DBS or be willing to complete a new one.
* Be able to easily commute to Sheffield or within the South Yorkshire area.
* Exhibit resilience and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic classroom environment.
