To own the electrical, electronic and regulatory scope for all hardware projects. To support the RI portfolio of products in-field and products under development as part of the NPD team. To work with suppliers to ensure that electrical, electronic and regulatory aspects of projects are executed correctly, providing a solid foundation for ongoing product production. To lead the Regulatory team to ensure expertise and support are available to provide confidence that RI Products are safe and legally compliant.

To lead the In Life Product Engineering Solutions team to ensure support, expert knowledge, and resources exist to enable products to be supported throughout their life span from cradle to grave. Responsible for managing product development projects to completion, through close collaboration with multiple functions across the global Hygiene & Pest Control businesses.
Requirements:

2. Expertise in electronics manufacturing and product design.
3. Previous relevant experience within a mechanical/electrical/electronics and/or regulatory environment.
4. A minimum of a good honours degree in electrical or electronic engineering or similar discipline.
5. Experience in bringing electronic products to production with high quality expectations.
6. Knowledge of regulatory affairs at a regional or international level.
7. Knowledge of Household Equipment regulatory approval requirements for Global Markets essential.
8. Experience of working with or within a Validation and Test environment and able to apply and recommend test strategies to ensure an understanding of a product's expected lifetime within the field is understood prior to product release.
9. Able to lead a technical project team.
10. Able to manage and deliver a complex project portfolio whilst also identifying opportunities for further simplification, standardisation and cost optimization.
11. Good analytical problem-solving skills with ability to generate and interpret technical data, provide conclusions and recommendations for follow up action accordingly.
12. Working knowledge of Schematic capture, layout and gerber editing software an advantage.
