Landmarc Support Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Team Leader to join our dedicated team at Fingringhoe Ranges in Essex.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the effective management and service delivery of our operations.
As a Team Leader, you will oversee a team of operatives committed to maintaining high standards across various estate management tasks. We are seeking a proactive individual with a strong leadership background. While prior experience in the Defence Training Estate or a rural setting is advantageous, it is not essential.
Hours of work - 37 hours per week
Days of work - Mon- Fri
Contract - Permanent

Main Responsibilities
Responsible for co-ordinating your team as their line manager and first point of contact for task allocation, and work checking
Be part of the team and not just a leader. 80% of the role will be working alongside your team
Rural estate maintenance works such as:
Fencing repairs and maintenance
Stone track repairs and maintenance
Vegetation cutting
Small scale forestry works including felling, tree planting
Driving and operating fleet vehicles, plant and machinery
Other general countryside management tasks
To liaise with stakeholders, contractors and other teams
Use both IT and paper based systems to complete relevant documentation
The Ideal Candidate
Knowledge of Health & Safety including COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Proficient computer literacy, including the use of tablets and relevant software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, motivating and inspiring team members
Demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Full Valid UK Driving Licence in order to carry out driving duties of the role (essential)
