COVER SUPERVISOR
An outstanding school in Redbridge is looking to recruit a pool of local Cover Supervisors who are available for short and long term cover.

This outstanding Secondary School, highly regarded within the borough of Redbridge, is looking to recruit a pool of Cover Supervisors for short and long term cover. Having built a reputation for achieving academic excellence, the Head Teacher, together with the successful Senior Leadership Team, aims to recruit staff who can help maintain this success and continue to push their students to achieve even more. Alongside providing students with a well-balanced education, the staff aim to develop their self-respect, tolerance, and intellectual curiosity.

The school encourages pupils to perform to the best of their ability and moulds the pupils to be mature and well-rounded adults.'
Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:
1. Supervising the cover work set by the absent Teacher.
2. Ensuring the children have the required resources and knowledge to complete the work set by the teacher.
3. Managing the behaviour of pupils during the lesson to ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
4. Being on hand to assist with any questions the children may have regarding the work.
5. Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies.
6. Collecting completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher/department.
Experience Needed:
1. Experience of working with children within a school setting (Ideally secondary).
2. Strong classroom presence and ability to manage behaviour as needed.
3. Ability to build rapport with children, staff, and parents.
4. Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent (Please note this is desired but not essential).
