Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join our manufacturing team in Grangemouth. This is your chance to lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic, challenging environment at a leading upper-tier COMAH site. You will control and elevate operational excellence to new heights. Responsibilities include:
1. Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary production team, providing guidance and support to achieve team and organizational goals.
2. Manage change/transformation, being part of an ambitious strategy focused on our team, our ways of working, and future site development.
3. Achieve production targets through strategic planning, resource optimization, prioritization, and decisive decision-making.
4. Continuously monitor and enhance EHS standards, providing technical support per Syngenta protocols.
5. Facilitate clear and timely cross-departmental communications.
6. Swiftly escalate critical issues for immediate resolution.
Qualifications
1. Extensive experience in manufacturing and production in a relevant sector (chemical production, food/beverages production, energy, etc).
2. Proven leadership experience with a track record of leading through change.
3. Strong IT proficiency with the ability to use and learn a variety of software.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across all levels, with leadership qualities.
5. Automation or software-driven plant knowledge/experience is beneficial.
