Job summary We have a rare opportunity for a reporting radiographer to join our imaging team in Jersey. You must have a post graduate qualification chest reporting plus preferably MSK, and either have, or be willing to work towards, a Masters degree and SOR accreditation. The successful candidate will be working alongside our Consultant-in-training Radiographer and will take an active part in audit and teaching. You will also be expected to maintain your patient-facing clinical skills. We are QSI accredited and are able to offer CPD and development opportunities for all staff. Salary ranges from £65,805 to £73,304 depending on experience and skills, with a 16% contribution from the employer to a pension.A relocation package is offered for off-island candidates. Main duties of the job Working as an autonomous practitioner, to provide highly specialist, clinical skills when performing a wide range of modality examinations for patients, including paediatrics and those requiring complex care. As a practitioner with expert knowledge, to be responsible for providing a high quality independent reporting service for their specialty, to all referrers, both internal and external to the hospital. This specialised role encompasses strong elements of leadership and consultancy, alongside research and education and supports the effective planning, development and delivery of the imaging modality.
