Do you have experience working on large construction projects installing and programming lighting control systems?

Then our in-house MEP Engineering business, Crown House Technologies, is the company for you. We are looking for an experienced lighting controls engineer to join the team across some of our projects primarily in the London and Oxford areas. Here you'll be working as part of the design team reporting to the LCS Operations Manager while working closely with our project managers, engineers and installation teams.

What will the role entail?
* Assisting with project design, giving feedback/suggestions from previous projects.
* Identifying technical and practical issues with suggestions for resolution, with assistance from lighting controls management.
* Software engineering and deployment.
* Provide regular progress updates to Lighting Controls management, discussing any issues impeding the efficiency of commissioning work.
* Liaise with CAD team for as fitted drawings.
* Provide relative sign off documentation for all completed works.
* Progress reporting through current dashboards.
* Fault finding and provision of technical assistance through commissioning phases.
* Ensure any project handover documentation is managed to ensure it is ready at handover.
What do we look for?
* Electrical Engineering qualifications (full electrical apprenticeship or equivalent).
* Good understanding of lighting control systems, knowledge of operations and technical submittals.
* Ability to work in a high pressure and fast-moving environment.
* Proven track record of delivering lighting control systems.
* Technical knowledge of DALI.
* Experience working with BACNET, Modbus or other IP systems.
* Ability to write and adapt system software and graphics.
* Working CAD knowledge.
* Working knowledge of IT network and infrastructures.
* A basic knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), energy management and Blind Controls would be beneficial for this opportunity.
