The Global Digital Team is a fast-growing global function at BlackRock which seeks to deliver and scale transformational business outcomes through industry-leading digital experiences and data platforms. We operate at the intersection of content, design, technology, and data.
Background
We are looking for a Digital Content Strategist to join our global digital team in a permanent role. This role will be key to developing and scaling best-in-class digital experiences that connect with our clients and drive commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement digital content strategies and content structures in partnership with digital product, data, design, UX teams, and marketing partners.
2. Project manage and provide leadership for high-profile projects and workstreams.
3. Develop client-centric content. Build, scale, measure, and optimize digital experiences for priority audiences and sites.
4. Spearhead innovative initiatives to explore emergent technologies that can make our work more effective and efficient.
5. Develop and socialize best practice operating models, processes, and tooling for content planning, development, delivery, maintenance, and measurement.
Expertise:
1. Deep experience in digital content strategy and marketing within a digital ecosystem.
2. Proven ability to deliver excellent content experiences on our website.
3. Strong project management and leadership skills.
4. Experience with content operations, including developing and socializing best practice operating models, processes, and tooling.
5. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
6. Proven experience of using tools to measure the performance of digital content effectively.
7. Understanding of CMSs to publish content.
8. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and time management skills.
9. Strategic and critical thinker who is action-oriented.
10. Cultural fit. Contributes to a positive team culture.
11. The ability to progress things independently as well as partner with teams across the business to deliver is crucial.
12. Comfortable working through ambiguity.
13. Effectively act on internal feedback.
