Education and Training
£12.85 - £13.50 Per hour
- Provide support to students with autism spectrum disorder in an educational setting
- Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for students
- Help students develop social skills and promote positive behaviour
- Support students in their academic work and activities
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the students' care
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
- Additional training in autism support or special education is desirable
- Prior experience working in an educational or care setting
- Experience implementing individualised education plans (IEPs)
- Understanding of autism spectrum disorder and its impact on individuals
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of behavioural management techniques
- Certification in autism support or related field
- First aid training
- Work in a school setting with students with autism spectrum disorder
- Full-time hours, temporary position
- Potential for some flexibility in working hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
