Ampergia Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR & Industrial Relations Officer to support our human resources functions and manage employee relations. This role is vital in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and enhancing organizational performance through effective HR strategies.
1. Employee Relations:
* Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment rights.
* Manage grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution processes in accordance with company policy and UK employment law.
* Promote effective communication between management and employees to maintain a harmonious working environment.
2. Recruitment and Onboarding:
* Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
* Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
* Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
3. Performance Management:
* Support the implementation of performance management systems, including regular appraisals and development plans.
* Provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues and employee development strategies.
4. Policy Development and Compliance:
* Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
* Ensure compliance with all employment legislation and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws.
5. Training and Development:
* Identify training needs and assist in the development of employee training programs.
* Coordinate and deliver training sessions related to HR policies, compliance, and employee development.
6. Reporting and Data Management:
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
* Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
7. Industrial Relations:
* Liaise with trade unions and employee representatives to foster positive industrial relations.
* Assist in negotiations related to pay, working conditions, and other employment terms.
Requirements
* Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration
* Relevant HR qualification
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
