As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to service users in their homes or community settings. Your role will involve assisting with personal care, mobility support, medication administration, and companionship, ensuring that all individuals receive respectful, safe, and professional care. Are you the right person for the job? Full UK Driving license and own transportation is required Right to work in the UK Minimum of six months' experience in the care sector with NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willing to upskill Experience working with older people, individuals with complex care needs, and disabled children/adults A caring, compassionate, and patient approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) What will your role look like? Provide high-quality personal care and support tailored to individual needs Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation Support individuals with complex care needs, including those with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, dementia, or long-term conditions Administer medication in accordance with care plans and company policy (after training) Promote dignity, choice, and independence in all aspects of care Assist with mobility, including the use of hoists and other mobility aids as required Engage service users in meaningful activities and social interactions Record and report any changes in the health and well-being of individuals to senior staff Adhere to all safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control procedures Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other team members to deliver person-centred care What can you expect in return?
