PM Group requires a site-based construction supervisor near Glenrothes, Scotland to oversee a portfolio of projects on an FMCG site.
Responsibilities
1. Acting as a representative for the client in all construction activities on site.
2. Managing permits to work, RAMS, etc.
3. Working alongside existing client engineers, managers, and nominated principal contractors.
4. Reporting to the project manager and offering regular progress updates to the client's central program team.
5. Ensuring construction goes ahead in line with the project schedule.
6. Managing resources.
7. Delivering the project on time and within budget, in accordance with industry and client-specific EHS and QA/QC standards and procedures.
8. Reviewing and approving technical documentation.
9. Liaising with project teams, other departments, senior management, and contractors.
10. Providing construction quality and technical oversight, managing change, mitigating risk, managing costs, and managing the schedule.
11. Directing and supervising contractors during construction and installation.
12. Managing change control.
Qualifications
1. Experienced in managing construction on projects within the FMCG sector.
2. Experienced in managing multiple small works packages.
3. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
4. Strong management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
