Key responsibilities will include:
● Define project scope and objectives, formulate detailed project plans, and coordinate activities across cross-functional teams to ensure efficient execution and delivery.
● Undertake project planning, including budget/resource allocation, tracking, and reporting to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
● Develop and prioritise project schedules, ensuring timely completion of project
milestones and overall delivery aligned to the Digital Roadmap
● Act as the primary point of contact for senior global stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals, progress, and outcomes.
● Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies to minimise their impact on project timelines, budgets, and quality.
● Ensure all project deliverables meet Medik8’s quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and best practices.
● Maintain consistent and clear communication with project teams and stakeholders through regular updates, reports, and meetings.
● Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration and ensuring efficient allocation and management of resources.
● Conduct project closure and post-project evaluation to capture insights and enhance future project delivery.
● Alignment with Digital Development team in day-to-day activities e.g. Standup, Planning, Retrospectives
The successful candidate will:
● Proven experience in project management, preferably in digital projects within the beauty, retail, or similar industries.
● Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
● Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
● Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
● Familiarity with digital trends and technologies relevant to the beauty industry is a plus.
● Sharp attention to detail, and a passion for producing high-quality work and continuous improvement
● Experience in JIRA, Trello, Asana, Monday, Aha! or equivalent an advantage.
● Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Scrum, SAFe ) is desirable.
