If so, we want you on our team About the Role As a Tenancy Support Officer, your key goal is to minimise financial loss by ensuring vacant properties are re-let efficiently while maintaining high standards. You’ll play a vital role in managing lettings, void properties, and legal processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new and outgoing tenants. Key Responsibilities Lettings & Void Management Conduct property viewings and demonstrate key features to prospective tenants. Liaise with departing tenants, collect keys, and inspect vacated properties. Manage lock changes, arranging locksmith services when needed. Inspect properties, document conditions, and specify necessary repairs. Coordinate with local councils to ensure properties meet required standards. Assign work to contractors and monitor performance, negotiating costs where necessary. Oversee property clearance, damage assessments, and void turnaround targets. ⚖ Legal & Compliance Deliver legal documents (e.g., Notices to Quit) and provide tenants with relevant advice. Attend evictions with County Court bailiffs, coordinating with councils and locksmiths. Ensure the proper handling, removal, and storage of tenants’ belongings post-eviction. General Duties Work closely with inspection teams to maintain up-to-date knowledge of property issues. Support tenants from diverse backgrounds, ensuring a smooth transition into housing. What We’re Looking For ✔ Experience in property management, tenancy support, or lettings. ✔ Strong communication & interpersonal skills – ability to liaise with tenants, contractors, and local authorities. ✔ Organisational skills – ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet targets. ✔ Problem-solving ability – quick thinking and resourcefulness in property issues. ✔ Full UK driving license – to attend property visits and meetings.
