This is a new and exciting post to support the care delivery of the Mental Health Community Pathways. Working with the Senior Management Team and across a variety of community services, you will be at the forefront of innovative service developments.
The role will involve you providing professional nursing, allied health professional (AHP) and quality leadership and support across the community services. By working with staff and managers in the service, you will ensure that the highest possible quality of care is provided and that all required standards are achieved. Through your work in service development and enhancing professional practice, you will be expected to champion coproduction with service users, carers and staff.
You will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse or an Allied Health Professional with experience working in and leading teams in a mental health setting. You will need to manage multiple strands of work therefore the ability to be flexible and prioritise your workload will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery of nursing, AHP, clinical governance and quality improvement priorities within Mental Health Community Pathways.
2. Using a quality and safety lens, lead and actively support and deliver workstreams, service developments and quality improvement projects.
3. Ensure regulatory standards are met e.g. CQC, NMC, HCPC and support services through accreditation processes.
4. Lead the development of professional practice to enable continuous quality improvement in service provision.
5. Coordinate evidence for complaints, safeguarding and patient safety action plans, ensuring learning is shared and embedded.
6. Support with investigations and patient safety learning events when required.
7. Lead on policy development and provide support to review and implement policies.
8. Develop, implement and support audit programmes of professional practice and quality.
9. Maintain records and provide verbal and written updates for internal and external partners.
