Job Description:
1. Work with Client to understand the project scope and vision.

7. General Project administration, with an overall responsibility for managing the principal areas of Time, Cost, and Quality.

9. Actively engage with Stakeholders on projects.
10. Progression of Projects in line with Company Project Delivery System (PDS).
11. Provide reports and updates in line with Client PDS and reporting requirements.
12. Manage and support Client Capex approvals process and any other Project enablers.
13. Manage Project schedule(s) and milestones.
14. Report on project schedule and milestones.
15. Prepare and report commercial/financial data in line with Client processes, including liaison with Client finance partners.
16. Attend and record meeting minutes and allocate actions accordingly.
17. Prepare any such reports deemed necessary to support the delivery of projects.
Project and Programme Management Responsibilities:
1. Accountable for the development and delivery of capital projects from conception to completion, reportable to the Head of Project Delivery.
2. Accountable for project portfolio HSE performance - Zero Fatalities, Lost Time Injuries, and Environmental Incidents.
3. Accountable for Project Manager team - People development, capability growth, team engagement scope >65% - Establish and maintain a high-performance culture.
4. Lead up to 6 project professionals plus 50 contractors through project execution contracts.
5. Accountable for Capital Project delivery at airport - All projects delivered to agreed baseline with appropriate resources.
6. Deliver the annual £X million CAPEX plan within +/-5%.
7. Support programme efficiency against agreed cost to serve targets and external benchmarks.
8. Champions HSE, Deliver as Promised, and People Development.
9. Plans, prioritises, and manages multiple projects, enabling delivery as promised with business case benefits realised.
10. Prioritises tasks, assigns team members to projects, and uses the team's overall resources effectively to help meet project deadlines.
11. Selects, leads, directs, evaluates, and develops a team of project managers to be able to deliver projects on-time, within budget and according to project specifications.
12. Evaluates changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project, and authorises decisions within project budgets.
13. Leads the most complex or critical projects, monitors progress and performance against the project plan, identifies and resolves operational problems, and minimises delays.
14. Coaches and mentors project team staff and assists them to solve problems.
NEC3/4 Responsibilities (if acting as the Project Manager or Supervisor):
1. Review and understand requirements of the contract including Scope of Works Information.
2. Collaborative working.
3. Establish system for communications under contract.
4. Appoint delegates.
5. Prepare a first Early Warning Register (EWR).
6. Arrange first Early warning meeting.
