An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinically focused, highly motivated independent prescribing pharmacist who wishes to expand their experience by working on-site within a General Practice at Maryport, Cumbria.
Previous primary care experience is essential alongside experience with EMIS or System 1 (Training is provided). It is desirable to have completed the CPPE pathway or already be on the CPPE Pathway or willing to partake.
Main Duties of the Job
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Support attainment of IFF indicators/DES
* Structured Medication reviews
* Resolve medication-related issues
* Help to utilise skill mix
* Ensure better access to healthcare
* Support practice staff with prescription and medication queries
* Provide expertise in clinical medicines advice
* Provide clinical leadership on medicines optimisation and quality improvement
