About The Role
Exciting opportunity for a Project Worker housing, based across two of our services in Newhaven and Eastbourne. Key working across both sites, you will offer support to the young women who are pregnant or have a child up to the age of 5 years who are homeless or who have recently experienced homelessness at our East Sussex Young Parent Service.
At Salvation Army Homes we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, good quality housing services, support and resettlement.
The Project Worker willbe working with young people who have experienced homelessness in a psychologically informed environment (training provided) and will engage creatively with clients to:
* Grow their strengths and talents
* Parenting support and safeguarding
* Develop their skills and resources to transform their lives
* Support tenancy sustainment
* Improve understanding of financial management
* Enable better health and wellbeing
* Move on to independent living
