You will be working on a full time, permanent basis, working 4 on 4 off (days) and in return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of £38,217.84 per annum plus excellent company benefits The Warehouse Shift Manager role: To supervise and lead an allocated Warehouse team to meet agreed deadlines, legislative requirements and service level agreement targets. Ensure day and night shifts are covered where required. Ensure Supervisors conduct comprehensive handovers and cross department working is effective Monitor staffing levels and equipment to ensure they are cost effective and sufficient to meet operational requirements Monitor performance against targets and identify any action to be taken to ensure these are achieved on a sustainable basis Ensure staff are working in accordance within service level targets and agreements, identifying any discrepancies, resolving complaints and ensuring an effective and response to customer service is achieved Implement established systems for stock management, inspections and health and safety and fully investigate any arising issues on a timely basis and take any appropriate action Ensure staff are aware of Warehouse Management procedures and associated food safety standards and any non-compliance is corrected on a timely basis and preventative action is taken Arrange for staff to complete any relevant training and additional requirements are identified and actioned to ensure multi-skilled and competent teams What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Warehouse Shift Manager? Level 3 (or equivalent) Warehouse Management Knowledge and application of Warehouse Racking Systems IT literate in Microsoft Office packages and have the ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data Experience in a people management role Knowledge and application of health and safety procedures What skills are we looking for in our Warehouse Shift Manager?
