Our client is seeking a Finance/Accounts Assistant to join their established team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks in the financial department. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and a knowledge of purchasing and stock will be an advantage. The Role: Record Accounts payable and receivable Process and prepare financial statements. Oversee client accounts. Create, send, and follow up on invoices. Process and prepare financial statements. Collect and review data for reports. Oversee enquiries and orders from customers, and quotes prices, discounts, delivery dates and other relevant information. Prepare requisitions, consignments, and other despatch documents. Check requisitions against stock records and forward to issuing department. Adjusts stock records as orders are received, reports on damaged stock and prepare requisitions to replenish damaged stock. The Person: Previous experience in an Accounts/Finance Assistant role Wholesale experience is an advantage. Experience of working with stock is an advantage. Be a team player.
