The Opportunity: We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Private Client Solicitor to join the Private Client team. This role involves handling a complex and varied caseload while providing expert legal advice on all areas of private client law, including wills, trusts, estate planning, tax, and probate. The Senior Private Client Solicitor will play a key role in supporting the Head of Private Client in delivering strategic objectives, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring outstanding client service Principal Accountabilities: Caseload Management: Handle a full range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate administration, tax planning, and probate. Client Advisory: Provide expert legal advice tailored to the needs of high-net-worth individuals and families. Complex Case Handling: Manage high-value and intricate cases, ensuring the highest standards of legal service. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all work complies with legal and regulatory requirements, mitigating any potential risks. Mentorship & Development: Support and mentor junior solicitors, trainees, and paralegals, fostering a high-performance culture. Business Development: Assist in identifying new business opportunities, growing the firm’s client base through networking and referrals. Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with the Head of Private Client to implement strategic initiatives and enhance departmental performance. About You: Significant experience in private client law, including wills, trusts, probate, and tax planning. Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in complex estate and wealth management matters. Proven ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently and effectively. Excellent client relationship management and business development skills. Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members. A deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements. Qualified solicitor with relevant accreditations (e.g., STEP, CTA, or equivalent)
