The Role We are supporting a local business with their search for a Manufacturing Administrator. Located in Cramlington, you will be required to cover the following duties. Key responsibilities:
* Support with purchasing activities and supplier communication
* Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and updating our skills and training (ILUO) matrix
* Participate in office meetings and taking meeting minutes
* Use data sources to identify continuous improvement opportunities
* Ensure new engineering orders (NEO’s) and engineering change orders (ECO’s) are completed in a timely manner
* Ensure all cleat costs are maintained and accurate
* Support costing enquires, working closely with the technical department
The Person We are looking for the following skills/attributes:
* Competent administration skills including attention to detail skills
* Experience in a busy manufacturing/production environment.
* Excellent IT skills and proactively showing initiative is essential.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work as part of a team.
