The Role Administration of all UK Security Vetting, with clearances with the Department for Transport for the production of Security Passes. Ensuring the issue of Eurotunnel Identity Passes from the UK Security Department to all persons needing access to the Eurotunnel Concession in accordance with Department for Transport Directions. Maintain the necessary databases to ensure correct, up-to-date records for all vetting and pass issues. Principal Accountabilities, Qualifications, and Experience Issue and Process Security Questionnaires, for all Eurotunnel (ESL), Concessionaire and Contractor personnel, in co-ordination with Human Resources and Eurotunnel Contract Managers for Security clearance for working within the Eurotunnel UK Concession. Liaise with the UK Security Vetting Officer to resolve issues with Eurotunnel Personnel, Contractors, Concessionaires and UK Authorities relating to Vetting Clearance with the Department for Transport. Respond in an efficient manner to the issue of Eurotunnel Badges by the UK Security Department to all parties including UK authorities in accordance with Department for Transport Directions and the relevant Eurotunnel Security Procedures. Organise the data storage of Security Questionnaires and security records in accordance with Data Protection legislation. Manage the UK security database systems for Vetting and Eurotunnel Badge distribution. Create the necessary SAP entry and SDS numbers for Eurotunnel Contractors and UK Authorities. Enter details on the government databases needed for UK vetting. Provide assistance to the UK Security Vetting Officer. Requirements Educated to GCSE/O Level standard or equivalent. Previous experience and knowledge of the workings of Government departments and the legislative environment in which Eurotunnel operates. Extensive experience of co-ordination and administration functions. A valid Driving License and Passport is essential.
