About the role
Moorside Legal, a key entity within APN Group, is a dynamic new law firm specialising in debt recovery. We are committed to delivering high-quality legal services, and pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Junior Paralegal to join our dedicated team.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Manage a workload of litigated debt recovery cases from inception to resolution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and client expectations.
* Provide comprehensive support to the Principal Solicitor in legal matters, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and managing case files.
* Conduct legal research and analysis, staying current with relevant laws and regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date information to the legal team.
* Assist in client communication, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
* Assist with ideas to develop the Case Management system.
About You
* A minimum of 1 years’ experience working in civil litigation paralegal role (ideally focused on debt recovery).
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight timescales.
* Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
Desirable:
* Educated to degree level in a relevant subject.
* A desire to progress in a legal career
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bradford
