Role Description
We are excited to welcome a Data Enrichment Analyst to join our fast-growing and hugely successful Data Science team, made up of talented and diverse Data Engineers, Scientists, and Analysts. As a Data Enrichment Analyst you’ll have input into the Data enrichment strategy & optimise our external Data capability, whilst collaborating to help deliver all other elements of the Allianz UK Commercial Data Science strategy.
Your focus:
* Work closely with the Enrichment Manager on delivery of the Data Hunting Strategy.
* Build and maintain relationships with various areas of the GI business.
* Build, maintain & maximise relationships with key third-party suppliers.
* Build, maintain & maximise relationships with Procurement, legal & Supplier Relationship Management teams.
* Support in contract negotiations with data suppliers.
* Demonstrate Data Enrichment expertise, identify opportunities for new Data opportunities & promote the use of external Data throughout Allianz.
* Support the performance & problem resolution for Data Enrichment Services & associated data submissions.
* Support delivery of projects involving Data Enrichment capability.
* Promote the Data Hunting strategy in project delivery.
* Ensure external Data services are managed in line with Data regulation.
* Manage Operational Risk & Controls for Data Enrichment services.
* Collaborate with data stakeholders to integrate enrichment data into our data pipelines and systems.
About you
* You will have previous experience in management of Data contracts & Third-Party relationships with experience leading Third Party data contract negotiation.
* Advanced analytical skills with demonstrable ability to draw logical and robust key messages from data.
* Experience of presenting arguments/insight clearly, telling a compelling story in a visual and easy to understand format with defined actions.
* Ability to adapt your communication style where necessary and confidence to present insights to audiences of leaders or specialists in specific areas.
* Experience in a research/analytical role – with the ability to handle complex data sets.
* You will have working knowledge of Data Enrichment Services and their use within General Insurance with experience of leading technical projects around Data Enrichment delivery.
* You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex or technical information in a simple way and when required the ability to influence and negotiate.
* You will be quick to learn with the ability to prioritise activities and be responsive to the needs of the business and have the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines.
